MyBullion Privacy Policy

MyBullion is designed to work without an account. Your portfolio stays on your device, and the App does not use advertising SDKs or track you across apps or websites.

1. Your Portfolio Stays on Your Device

Holdings, quantities, weights, purity, purchase details, valuation settings, calculated performance, photos, serial numbers, storage locations, notes and generated exports are stored locally. They are not uploaded to MyBullion's backend or sent to an artificial-intelligence provider.

MyBullion does not provide developer-operated cloud portfolio storage in this version. Device or operating-system backups are controlled by you and your platform provider.

2. Live Prices and Market History

The App requests public spot prices, exchange rates and price history. These requests do not contain an account, email address, portfolio, persistent device identifier or cookie. Network information needed to return the request is processed transiently and is not retained in MyBullion application or access logs.

3. Apple Purchases

Apple processes payments. To activate or restore Premium, the App sends an Apple-signed transaction proof and product identifier to MyBullion for real-time verification with Apple. MyBullion does not add an account or device identifier, does not use StoreKit appAccountToken, and does not retain the proof, transaction identifiers or purchase history after returning the verification result.

The verified entitlement and its expiry are cached only on your device. Apple may process purchase data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Anonymous Feedback

If you choose Settings > Send Private Feedback, MyBullion stores the category, title and message you submit, plus an aggregate vote count. The App does not attach an account, email address, persistent device identifier or purchase identifier. Do not include your name, contact details or other personal information in the message.

Feedback may be retained while it is useful for support and product improvement. Because it is submitted without contact details, we cannot reply to or identify the sender through the feedback record.

5. Generic AI Market Briefing

Premium users may request a generic market briefing. MyBullion verifies Premium access in real time, then sends only the selected display currency and generic market context to the AI provider. It does not send portfolio holdings, values, allocations, purchase history, photos, notes, serial numbers or storage locations. AI-generated information may be inaccurate and is not financial advice.

6. Software Updates

The App checks MyBullion's signed update service using only the operating platform, app runtime version and release channel needed to deliver a compatible update. It does not send a persistent update-client identifier, account, portfolio data or prior crash text. Update requests are not retained in access logs.

7. Service Providers and Transfers

MyBullion uses Apple for app distribution and purchases, market-data providers, infrastructure providers for transient API and signed-update delivery, and an AI provider for the generic briefing described above. These providers may process limited request data as processors or independent controllers under their own terms. Where required, recognised safeguards are used for international transfers.

8. Support, Privacy Requests and Retention

You can use the anonymous in-app feedback route without sharing contact details. If you separately email support@mybullionapp.com, your email address and anything you include will be linked to that correspondence and retained only as needed to answer the request, protect the service, resolve a dispute or comply with law.

You can clear locally stored portfolio information from Settings. This does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase records controlled by Apple. To exercise applicable UK data-protection rights, contact the email above. MyBullion may need information that reasonably verifies a request, but it cannot identify an anonymous in-app feedback sender from the feedback record.

9. Security and Children

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transport, signed updates and access controls. No system is absolutely secure. MyBullion is intended only for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
