MyBullion Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MyBullion ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the MyBullion mobile application (the "App"). We aim to collect only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the App.


1. Who We Are and Who May Use the App

You do not need to create an account to use MyBullion.

MyBullion is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. The App is intended only for people aged 18 or over.

This portfolio information is stored locally on your device. MyBullion does not provide cloud portfolio backup in this version. You are responsible for keeping any exports or other backups you require.

Normal use of the App does not upload your individual holdings, photos, notes, serial numbers, storage locations, purchase prices, total portfolio value, or metal allocations to us or to an AI provider.

We do not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or use personal information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

Our legal bases under UK data-protection law are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is required for an optional feature, we will ask for it separately.


5. Generic AI Market Briefing

The App may offer a generic market briefing generated with the assistance of an artificial-intelligence service. Requests for this generic briefing do not include your holdings, portfolio value, metal allocations, purchase history, photos, notes, serial numbers, or storage locations.

The AI provider processes the generic prompt and market context only to return the requested briefing. AI-generated information may be incomplete or inaccurate and is not financial advice.


6. Service Providers and International Transfers

We use service providers to operate the App, including:

These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms and privacy policies. Some processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers.

The Settings control for clearing portfolio data removes the portfolio information held by the App on that device. It does not cancel subscriptions, erase records held by Apple or Google, or automatically erase backend purchase and operational records.

To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about our handling of your personal information, email support@mybullion.app. We may need information that reasonably verifies your connection to the relevant device or transaction before acting on a request.

Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including secure transport, access controls, and measures appropriate to the information and service involved.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

MyBullion is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App. Continued use after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the updated Policy, but does not replace consent where consent is legally required.
